SPD and SOS are coming together to launch SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change. Building on years of nurturing strong and passionate communities through their signature events - SPD Ability Walk and SOS’ Spark the Change Fest - both organisations unite their communities in a collective, unified movement. SparkAbility 2026 reflects a shared commitment by SPD and SOS to advancing inclusion, suicide prevention and community health, and driving meaningful change together.

SparkAbility 2026 brings these messages to life by uniting diverse communities to walk as one. Persons with disabilities may face isolation, stigma, and mental health challenges, while individuals struggling with suicidal ideation may suffer silently without timely support. Together, SPD and SOS shine a light on shared need for belonging, connection and compassionate care - strengthening support networks that promote inclusion, mental well-being and hope.
