Haze Advisory (Posted on 16 September 2026, 11.30am)

Dear friends and supporters,

SparkAbility 2026: A Walk for Change is scheduled to take place outdoors at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay this Saturday, subject to air quality conditions and advisories from the relevant authorities.

We are monitoring the air quality closely and taking guidance from NEA’s haze advisories. We may make adjustments to the event as needed, prioritising the health and well-being of all.

If the air quality for the 24-hour PSI forecast reaches an unhealthy level/1-hour PM2.5 reading reaches Band 2 and above, vulnerable individuals including elderly persons, pregnant women, children, those with chronic lung or heart conditions or other underlying health conditions are strongly advised not to participate. All other participants and attendees are advised to exercise discretion when deciding whether to attend.

We will provide updates on both here and our official social media channels (@SPDSingapore; @SamaritansOfSingapore) at 1.00pm on Friday, 18 September 2026, with a final update at 6.00am on the event day.
